I got a
call from a friend of mine, who was starting work on the web site design for
her online business. She asked me if I could do the back end for the shopping
and I agreed. This friend is actually my ex-colleague when I was working at
Pharmaniaga Manufacturing Berhad. This would be actually our first time we
collaborate to create online catalog and the shopping chart. Due to lack of
knowledge and experience develop website. We decided to appoint one of our
friends to teach us on how to develop our website.
After a few time scheduling and
canceling the session, finally we managed to meet up and have the tutorial
session. The session has been conducted at Restoran Bariyani at Bandar Baru
Bangi. The reason why the restaurant has been chosen due to the high speed of
wifi provided by the restaurant. We have made an agreement, we can used their
private room but we need to order our lunch with them. Besides me and my
friend, there is a few 2 makcik-makcik and her son interested to join this
session.
You know how difficult both
makcik-makcik need to absorb and understand the technology. Me and my friend
sometimes getting stuck due to have a lot of questions from the makcik-makcik.
It was a good experience that has been shared by the teacher. Owh… before I
forgot, our teacher formerly is an army. During his service, he basically start
his business by selling golf stuff via online. He can get money in average of
RM 3,000 per month. So, he start to think of to be more serious in online
business.
Back to our business, he teaches
us the step taken to develop the website. It was exciting and sometime somehow
more difficult than what I thought. But, Alhamdulillah, the teacher
manage to teach us accordingly (even there have a lot of interruption from both
of makcik-makcik. Hahahaha…. The session end approximately around 6.00 pm.
Even, it was exhausted but we enjoyed what we learned. Below is the sample
