My first experience download movie

Besides traveling and spending time with my family and friends, my hobby is watching movies. Sometimes due to hectic activities, I can not watched most of my favorite’s movie or series. I did ask my friend who have knowledge about download movie via online. I think that is the best way to ensure that I still follow and can watch my favorite movie. So, from my tutorial with my friend, herewith I would like to share my experience how to download movie via online.

To begin, I strongly recommend downloading a program called bitlord, even there have a lot of platform that you can used to download movie. It is not absolutely necessary, but it allows you to stop and start downloads as you wish and will allow you to easily select exactly which files you wish to download even if many are packaged together into one torrent. If you choose, go to bitlord.com, select Download and download Bitlord.

Once Bitlord is downloaded and installed, you are ready to select your movies. Now you need to search for "torrents". I recommend isohunt.com but you can use any other torrent site. Go to isohunt.com and enter your movie in the search box.

Once the search results come up, here are some tips to picking the best possible option. First, I would sort the results by clicking the "S" at the top of one of the far right columns. This places the movies with the most "seeds" at the top of the list, which are most likely the ones of highest quality and will download fastest. Then, look to the right of the torrent name to see if there are any ratings and/or comments. You can click on the star or the speech bubble to read what people who downloaded that torrent have to say about it.

After checking the ratings and reading user comments, you're ready to download! Simply click "Download .torrent" Your computer will prompt you to open or save file? Click open and BitLord will recognize the file and open automatically. A window will show you different files that are included in the torrent. UNCHECK every box but the movie file. You only want the file that ends in .avi or .mpeg, anything else is junk, a tracker, or possibly something malicious. Click "OK" and the movie will begin downloading and you can watch the progress in the transfer window.

Once completed, the movie will be saved into C:\Program Files\BitLord\Downloads. You can make bitlord save your movies in any folder by clicking Options->Preferences->Task->Default Download Path and selecting your own. You can open your movie with video players such as Windows Media Player or VLC Media Player. I recommend VLC because it tends to accomodate more types of files. (VLC can be downloaded for free from download.com) You can also burn the files onto a CD and some DVD players will read them) Happy watching!! I will be able to answer any questions you have, just post a comment and I'll get back to you. Enjoy!

My first experience using Android

I am not that kind of person who obsesses with the gadget. Somewhere in May 2011, I was impressed with what I was reading about Galaxy Note 1 (plus influence by my best friend) and its big screen. So I decided to give android a chance on a phone and bought one. After using the Note 1 exclusively for a couple of weeks, I am convinced it is the best smart phone I have ever used. It is good it has changed the way I use my other mobile phone.

When I state that the Note 1 is the best phone I have used I'm not saying that Android is better than other mobile platforms. I don't believe that there is a best platform. Some folks will find Windows Phone to be best for them. Others will like iOS and some will even find BlackBerry 10 to be just the right platform to meet their needs. What I want to make clear is the total package, both hardware and software, is what makes the Note 1 work so well for me. The big display presents enough information at one time to make the Note 1 worth the trouble a larger phone creates. The software that Samsung has put together for the Note 1 is useful for the things I do. But, the only thing is the battery life is not long enough to get me through even the half day of use. The whole thing works together so well, and that's what makes the Note 1 so good for me.

Besides that, I always carried one of the tablets because I hate to waste spare time that crops up when running typical errands. Unexpected delays would see me pull the tablet out to read a book or go online to see what was happening. This happened often enough to guarantee the bag always went
with me.

That's not the case since buying the Note 1. While I still prefer the small tablet to do those things I mentioned, the Note 1 is almost as useful doing them. This is why I now only put the Note 1 in my pocket when I head out for these outings. When I pull it out of my pocket it is good enough to be enjoyable doing the things I typically do. It's great not having to keep up with a bag when I'm running around like this. I never felt carrying the bag was a hassle, but now that I leave it at home I realize it is so much easier just having the phone. I still use the tablets all the time; I throw one in the bag when I'm running around for work. What getting the Note 1 has proven to me is it is good enough in a pinch to replace that small tablet. It's not quite as useful but it's close enough to step in admirably. I don't feel I'm giving up capability when I use the Note 1 instead of the tablet, and that's a big thing. I'm not about to say the Note 1 will completely replace a small tablet for me. I don't believe that it will. But it's still surprising to me how well it fills in when needed, and that's changed for the better the way I do some things. That's a very big deal to me.

My first experience online shopping.... Yeay!

Early 2005, my friend introduced me on auction online. In the website, we can browse all the items that they going to sell based on the highest bid within a time period. If let say the item I a branded watch, they will open for auction for about 5 hours for example. Whoever interested to bid the watch may key in their price. The highest bidder will get the watch.

My first experience: I won a bid on an auction at SellTrade_KL. I bought bags and watch. It was simple, bid and the highest bid got the things. Everyone was so excited to sell and buy. There were many Auctions going on in SellTrade_KL at the opening few posts. It was a bidding frenzy. But so exciting, we finally get to do online shopping. This is my first experience ever. I was so excited when my first parcel arrived.

I think at that time, men were preferred to buy at shopping mall or shops rather than buy via online. Since, online shopping is still new in Malaysia, people feel unsecured and reluctant to buy via online. Instead of shopping at SellTrade_KL, another website provides such service is e-bay. I was actually excited that I found a few online shops and was so eager to try online shopping, since I saw how famous it was overseas.

Now and you see a boom in online shopping sites growing. Everyone sells online now. A new avenue of business for people. More and more people are going online, more and more people are trusting the “online shopping experience”. It is so nice seeing how the online shopping industry in Malaysia grow in front of my eyes and I was here to document every moment of it.

Ok so the point of this post is for you and I to share our first ever experience of online shopping.

WHEN DID YOU FIRST START TO SHOP ONLINE AND WHERE AND WHAT DID YOU BUY? SPILL!!!

Was it ebay? Was it selltrade like myself? Did you start online shopping when these blog shops started?

My First Social Network Account

As I can recall somewhere in 2002, most of my friends have their own social media account. At that time most of them prefer having Friendster account. My first ever social media account was MySpace. Why MySpace? One time I recalled my best friend telling me she also had MySpace account. Because I am bit of a loner or anti-social, not wanting to join my acquaintances in Friendster yet, that’s it. Besides, I perceived MySpace to be way cooler than Friendster.

MySpace profile It was early 2003 then, so ignorant on how social networking works, and so stupid and immature, lacking proper online etiquette. But it did not matter to me. Like many others, I was excited. It was not that difficult to learn how MySpace works. Sending friend requests, messaging, posting, blogging and viewing other people’s profiles and photos. Sending friend requests to new friend? I did not feel stupid then doing that. I know this is nothing to be ashamed of. Many people do send requests to people whom they are never acquainted with, let alone having one mutual friend between them. Moreover, guys would like to meet with ladies online.

Up to date, I have about 355 friends, a great plurality of them are ladies who accepted my requests. However, there was minimal or almost no communication with them. What was the motivation of sending the requests? The reason being I wanted to have an experience having online friends. It does not meant that I don’t have any friend, but I just thought that having friends via online easy for you to share your problem without meet them face to face. I was enjoyed having MySpace account until one day, when I open my account, I cannot access anymore. I told to my friend, and they mentioned that someone had hacked my MySpace account. Due to that I never sign up to any of social media network until Facebook has been launch and now I only have Facebook account as a platform for me to stay in touch with my old friends.
